Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract to present at the upcoming ANZAAE Conference.  The ANZAAE Conference is a gathering in Aotearoa New Zealand of Art Educators and practitioners, from all levels of the curriculum.  

The next ANZAAE Conference will be held in 2027 at Auckland University of Technology | Te Wānanga Aronui o Tāmaki Makaurau, in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland over Wednesday 14 - Friday 16 April 2027. 

The theme for the 2027 Conference is -

“Whāngaia te hihiri kia tipu ai te auaha.” - Feed the spirit, nurture the mind, and creativity will grow. In this context passion is the seed referred to in the original saying. This is related to an idea (intangible) and is applicable to the concept of environment (tangible).

This Conference is an industrious and energising three days of learning, sharing and making connections. It is an inclusive event for all educators in the visual arts and related areas - from early childhood through to tertiary.
