Location: Rātā Foyer, Ilam Campus, University of Canterbury, 63 Creyke Road, Ilam, Christchurch. 

 

This pre-conference event brings together staff from across the tertiary education sector who design, support and utilise digital learning environments that enhance the learning and teaching experience for our learners.

The event will be collaborative and focused on knowledge sharing, case studies of good practice, and workshops to help plan future career and professional development opportunities for staff within this field.

Topics will include:

  • Learning environment standards and quality assurance:
    • Current organisational practice
    • Future standards and quality influences
    • International frameworks and guidelines
  • Learning environment evaluation:
    • Environment lifecycle and planning
    • Building capability around environmental change
  • Current state reports from teams around the sector
  • Roadmaps galore:
    • Meet and greet learning technology vendors in a focused speed-dating session

 

This event will be of interest to:

  • Learning environment business owners or team managers,
  • Learning designers, instructional designers, or learning technologists,
  • Learning systems specialists, technical specialists or product owners,
  • Learning environment project leads or teams.

 

Sessions will be a mix of presentations, workshops and un-conference ‘birds of a feather’ group discussions. Catering and opportunities for networking will be included!

This event is not to be missed! Join us to celebrate achievements and innovation in our Tertiary Institutions, as well as an evening of superb food, drink and entertainment.
When: Wednesday night, from approx. 6pm

We sold out in 2023, so please be considerate and only RSVP 'Yes' if you intend on attending the Awards evening.


Accommodation

Unfortunately both the Hilton and Towers properties are at capacity for accommodation over our conference dates. We have found additional capacity at Parkview on Hagley. Should you require accommodation, please email jaime@iconevents.co.nz with your check in/out dates and we will work to secure accommodation on a case by case basis.
