WHAT TO EXPECT

Auckland Climate in February

February is late summer in Auckland, with warm daytime temperatures (20–26°C) and mild evenings. However, because Auckland is surrounded by ocean on both sides, the weather can be highly changeable - sometimes four seasons in one day! Expect sunshine, occasional showers, and cooler breezes. Pack light layers, a waterproof jacket, and comfortable walking shoes to stay prepared.

Healthcare

Emergency services are reliable and accessible. Dial 111 for urgent assistance. Travel insurance is recommended.

Internet & Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available at the Conference venue (NZICC) and many public spaces. Mobile data is widely accessible via local SIM cards.

Currency/Money

New Zealand uses the NZ Dollar (NZD). Credit cards and contactless payments are widely accepted. ATMs are readily available throughout the city.

Electricity

Power supply is 230V, 50Hz. Plug type: Type I (same as Australia) - three-pin socket. Bring an adapter if needed.
