Thank you for considering sharing your knowledge and or skills with our national community. All you need to know is on this page. Please take a look and see what might be possible. We look forward to receiving your submission to present at the 2027 Conference!

To complete a submission you will need:

Your abstract title
Your presentation type (Formal presentation of research, practical workshop, standard presentation on a relevant topic etc.)
The Authors/who will be presenting & a short biography (this can be provided updated at a later date)
300 word abstract on what your presentations will be on
The duration of your presentation | 45min, 1hr45min or 3hr
Number of participants you would be able to accommodate
What equipment you will require (this can be provided at a later date but please note that we would welcome workshops that are budget friendly so that they are accessible to all schools).
Your room preference (type and size including resources in the room you may need)
AV Requirements (this can be provided at a later date)

Have a think about what you might choose to share at conference and how that might fit into our ‘strands’ listed below. This will help delegates navigate their conference experience so that they can get the best out of the event.

Want to submit an abstract to present?

Set up your 'account' within the Abstract Portal (using the Submit your abstract here button below) which provides an expression of interest in completing an abstract.
Shortly after you set up an account, you will receive an email with an auto-login link to access the Portal - keep this email on hand, as this link provides you access to the Portal at a later date, where you can access any draft submissions or view your submitted abstract/s.

The deadline to complete your abstract submission is Sunday 6 December 2026.

After this, the organising committee will review all submissions and provide an update as to the status of your submission before Christmas 2026 so that you can prepare during your summer break at your leisure or early Term 1 when you return to school. This will allow us to promote the programme to our members early.

If you are submitting an abstract and wish to register for the conference before receiving the outcome of your submission, please register through the Abstract Submission Portal rather than the conference website.
This will keep your registration and abstract submission linked, reducing duplicate records and helping us communicate with you effectively.

We look forward to seeing the fantastic array of abstracts! Please consider keeping resource requests ‘budget friendly’ so that what you are offering can be accessible and transferable across all demographics and types of budgets. While we appreciate there may be some ‘specialist and personal extension’ style workshops to just purely fill the creative cup we are aware that the majority of workshops and talks are likely to be focused on best classroom practice so delegates can take back new learnings to their classrooms.
